This is thec best restaurant with bakery that has delicious fresh fruit and cheese platters that you can enjoy for yourself or have quickly ordered for a last minute cocktail hour with a friend beautifully displayed and their deserts are to die for. my favorite restaurant Kudos to staff and owner authentic cuisine and cultures with variety. The salads are the best. You can find various vegi dishes!too where olive oil is their base for fresh bruchetta, skim mozzarella on Fresh baguette. And short if you don't eat meat they can accommodate you with various dishes and everything is so light and Airy not have you and that servings a large taking chance you'll truly enjoy I recommend the Caprese salad and tomato with mozzarella baguette as well as cheese nuts and fruit platter made with 100% cow milk or goat milk. my radio show couldn't resist giving them the love as well as you will fall in love too!

Wow! Everything was truly delicious. And the crunchy French Toast is some of the best french toast we've ever had. And the only French Toast we've ordered for delivery that came through and was still great. A touch pudding like in the center, and lightly crunchy on the outside, and scrumptious allover. Similar to the French Toast at Monterery Spa and Plaza up north, but even better. Next time I'm in charge of brunch, I'm going to bring this and be the star.

Such an awesome place when you just want something fresh, light and tasty. Their sandwiches are great and even better when asked for on their Portuguese sweet bread. Delivery is always prompt and friendly. Natas is definitely a fave :)

I don't know what everyone is bragging about. Great food and very nice and sweet delivery guy. It's sad though that they don't make that chicken with mashed potatoes dish anymore:(

The driver was classy. The food was good. The coffee was a little small. Would buy again, but make the coffee a double.

Nearly six years ago, Fatima Marques, a native of Lisbon, Portugal, searched Los Angeles for pasteis de nata, the most famous of Portuguese pastries. She discovered a void in the citys culinary landscape and true inspiration for a specialty pastry shop. On June 1, 25, Fatima celebrated the grand opening of Natas Pastries, the only Portuguese bakery in L. A. Named after its signature pastry, nata, means cream, has an exceptionally crisp puff pastry shell that is perfectly balanced by a custard filling resembling crème brûlée. The shop quickly became the talk of the Los Angeles Portuguese community and a neighborhood favorite on Ventura blvd. In 21 Natas Pastries expanded to a full service restaurant by creating a dining area serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bistro-style dishes flaunt the flavors of the Portuguese traditions. Start the day with a pastry and a bica, espresso shot, or French toast on Portuguese Sweet Bread or a Scramble with chouriço. At lunch you might want to try the Caldo Verde, a classic kale soup, or the Delicias do Mar, a delicious seafood salad with baby shrimp or the Prosciutto sandwich drizzled with Portuguese unfiltered olive oil, tomatoes and fresh basil. At dinner try the chouriço sausage, flambéed at the table on a traditional pig-shaped ceramic brazier and finish with the Bacalhau, Portugals ubiquitous salt cod, served here in the most traditional versions. And then, theres dessert, extensive choices to choose from, but whatever you decide to get here, it will be worth every single bite. The traditional dishes and regional sweets are a mixture of tastes and colors, carefully prepared with the freshest local and most carefully chosen imported national ingredients. The restaurant is known for the great variety of Petiscos, Portuguese style tapas, presented in the form of home-made and startling dishes that combine the Portuguese traditional meals or snacks with the novelty and imagination of the chef/owner Fatima Marques.
